Universal Wrecking Corp Completes Warehouse Demolition Project
Universal Wrecking Corp recently completed the demolition and asbestos abatement of a warehouse in New Jersey.
The warehouse had significant transite panels (asbestos containing material) that needed to be properly abated, handled and disposed. This work was conducted under strict compliance with all law, rules and regulations.
Following asbestos abatement, demolition of the facility commenced. Universal Wrecking Corp. utilized its fleet of Caterpillar excavators with demolition attachments (grapples and shears) to carefully demolish the structure
During all work, protection of the the surrounding environment and public was paramount. Dust control measures were strictly enforced to maintain dust suppression.
Universal Wrecking Corp. also removed all slabs, foundations and footings. Piles and concrete vaults were also demolished.
All scrap metals were segregated into ferrous and non ferrous metals for recycling. This helped Universal Wrecking to offset the costs of the demolition work for the client.
The site was left in a rough graded condition. All work was completed safely without any incident or accident. Universal Wrecking Corp takes great pride in their safety record.
